I believe Grayson Farm is the best place to board your horse in the Charlottesville area. The facilities are fantastic and well-maintained with miles of beautiful manicured trails, several riding rings, and a cross-country course. The indoor lighted arena is great for evening and winter riding. Kim and Tim are wonderful owners and Kim is the most knowledgeable and supportive horse person I have ever met. The horses are so happy and well cared for. If you board your horse at Grayson Farm, plan to develop solid and caring friendships and to become a life-long member of the Grayson Farm family!

Grayson is the best boarding barn around! No other farm offers the top notch facilities, amenities and care for your horse along with a small, intimate community of riders. This barn really has it all- miles of trails, well kept riding rings, lighted indoor arena and excellent turnout for the horses. My horse and I were immediately welcomed to the farm and made some of the best memories and close friends along the way. You and your horse will feel at home at Grayson!

There's really no place like Grayson Farm. I grew up riding at Grayson as a child and then my family had to move away. I looked in two other states for a barn like it and after graduating from college, moved back across the country to be at Grayson again when I couldn't find it. Sure, Grayson has beautiful facilities and takes excellent care of all horses, but it's the atmosphere of the farm that really makes it special. You will become part of a family. There's always someone with whom you can ride or you can come have a glass of wine at Ladies Night on Mondays. Alternatively, there's plenty of room on the 300 acres to have a solo therapy ride if that's more your jam. Kim is also a gifted instructor who just seems to understand horses and what they need. She's insightful, patient, and willing to work with riders of all levels and aspirations. Beware--people come here and they don't leave!
